The Rosenlund socks are a pair of knitted colorwork socks with a cuff-down construction and afterthought heel. They are named after an area in my hometown Stockholm and translates to something like flowery grove or rose grove.

Sizes
The socks come in 2 width sizes: 68 sts and 72 sts. For a wider or narrower sock, simply increase or decrease needle size. The length of the sock is easily adjustable by adding or removing rounds from the chart.

Materials
You will need fingering weight sock yarn in 3 different colors: approx. 200 meters (50 grams) of the main dominant color (depending on preferred cuff length), 80 meters (20 grams) for the background color, and 20 meters (10 grams) for the stripe color.

Needles
2.00 mm and 2.25 mm double-pointed needles (or size to obtain gauge), tapestry needle.

Gauge
9-10 sts per 2.5cm/inch in stranded knitting in the round. Example sock is knitted with a gauge of 38 sts per 10cm/4 inches.
