Rose's Blanket
This pattern is worked using the double filet/interlocking crochet technique. It is worked in one piece and not in separate squares and has both written instructions and a graph pattern.
You can any weight yarn but it will obviously alter the size of the blanket. The red, orange and yellow sample is worked in DK yarn. We highly recommend a test swatch before you start as you may find you require a larger hook than you would usually use.
The image used doesn’t include the additional border that has been added which makes the pattern a bit more beginner friendly, and the colour change has not been described but is purely achieved by changing the background colour at the appropriate row.
Top sample completed by Margaret O’Mara and second sample completed by Michael Mann
