Rosi is a basic V-neck cardigan with long sleeves. The cardigan is designed for using a gradient set of fingering weight yarn, but it may also be worked with a single-color yarn. To achieve a clean look and to highlight the beauty of the yarn, it is primarily worked in Stockinette Stitch with ribbed panels at the back, shoulders and sleeves providing some subtle but effective detail, along with faux seams at each side of the lower body.

The cardigan is worked top down in one piece. Beginning with the right and left neckbands, stitches are then picked up along the neckband edge for the fronts, the shoulders and the back. Then the shoulder section is worked, increasing to the cross back width. After finishing the shoulder section, the upper body is worked in one piece to the armhole depth. Then the sleeve stitches are put on hold, and the lower body, with slight A-Line shaping, is worked down to the hem. Finally, the long sleeves are worked in the round. The front bands are worked simultaneously with the body. A single button allows the cardigan to be worn closed.

Rosi ist eine Basic-Jacke mit V-Ausschnitt und langen Ärmeln. Die Jacke ist für ein Farbverlauf-Set entworfen, kann aber auch einfarbig gestrickt werden. Für ein klares Aussehen und um die Schönheit des Garns hervorzuheben, ist die Jacke hauptsächlich glatt rechts gestrickt. Rippenstreifen am Rückenteil, an den Schultern und Ärmeln sowie die „unechten“ Seitennähte im unteren Jackenbereich stellen subtile, aber wirkungsvolle Details dar.

Die Jacke wird von oben nach unten in einem Stück gestrickt. Begonnen wird mit der Halsblende für den rückwärtigen Halsausschnitt, aus deren Längsseite sodann Maschen für die Vorderteile, die Schultern und das Rückenteil herausgestrickt werden. Dann wird die Schulterpartie mit Zunahmen bis zum Erreichen der Rückenbreite gestrickt. Nach der Schulterpartie wird in einem Stück bis zur Armlochtiefe weitergestrickt. Anschließend werden die Ärmelmaschen stillgelegt und der untere Jackenbereich, mit leichter A-Linie, wird fertiggestellt. Zuletzt werden die Ärmel in der Runde gestrickt. Die Blenden werden gleichzeitig mit den Vorderteilen mitgestrickt. Die Jacke hat einen Knopf, so dass sie auch geschlossen getragen werden kann.
