Rosie beanie
This floral design is a great way to add a touch of colour to a winter wardrobe. It’s knitted in the round, to make maintaining the tension in the colourwork easier and to minimise finishing. Instructions are given for seven sizes, with a chart as well as written instructions for the colourwork section.
To fit:
Up to 1 year, 14-16” head circumference
1-2 years, 16-17”
3-4 years, 17-19”
5-10 years, 18.5-20”
Teen/small adult, 20-22”
Medium adult, 21.5-23”
Large adult, 23”+
Yarn requirements:
Main colour: 25, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 55g (70, 70, 84, 98, 112, 126, 154m)
Contrast colour: 15, 20, 25, 25, 30, 35, 40g (42, 56, 70, 70, 84, 98, 112m)
You will need 3.25mm and 4mm circular needles; to shape the crown you will need to use the magic loop method or switch to 4mm dpns. You will also need a stitch marker and tapestry needle to finish off.
