I’ve had this pink in my stash for a while and wanted to create something delicate and lovely with it. Chunky shells and ruffles to the rescue! The overall impression is a diamond shell design. I hope you enjoy this different take on shells!

Baby blanket approximate dimensions: 39 x 40 inches

Super Bulky weight yarn: Color A 17.5 oz or 540 yards; Color B 7 oz or 216 yards

Skill level: Beginner

Standard US terms used: ch, dc, tr, sc, sl st

Gauge: 8 dc over 4 rows = 4x4 in square swatch

Materials used: Bernat Softee Chunky yarn in Baby Pink was used in the picture for the center of the blanket (color A) and Bernat Softee Chunky yarn in Grey Heather for border (color B)
