This crochet shawl combines a nice solid section with a simple border. Worked from the bottom most point to the top it results in a beautiful triangle shaped shawl.

It uses only HDC & chain stitches so is easy enough for a beginner, and would also be a great project to make while watching tv for a more experienced crocheter.

Although this design calls for sock yarn and 5.5mm hook, any size yarn/hook combination can be used to create your shawl.
