This pattern is in US terms. I try not to use abbreviations so that beginners can follow the pattern easily without having to know crochet terms from the beginning.
You can use whatever colors you would like, I just listed the ones I used for this pattern.
There are optional instructions on how to make the flowers to decorate the spider with. You will find these instructions and pictures at the end of the basic pattern.
