Rosie’s Blanket was made for the new baby of a close friend. I have a large skein if hand dyed double knit from skein queen in a amazing pale grey. It was perfect for the elegant tastes of my friend, so I tried to design a simple elegant pattern to show off the yarn. As usual, the pattern is written in a number of different sizes.
The different sizes will have different repeats of the lace pattern up the side, however if you want to stick with 2 as the pattern, just complete plain stocking stitch instead of the lace repeat.

DK weight yarn
3.75mm needles
Yarn needle.
Tension; 20st x30 rows
measured across whole blanket
