Rosie's Ripple baby blanket
Rosie’s Ripple was designed for my newest Granddaughter Rosalie. When she was born, I just knew I had to make a rose-colored blanket for her. Done entirely in HDC, I love how this stitch looks like little popcorns or bobbles between rows of chains, and it is reversible.
This pattern is easily adjustable and I give instructions and approximate yardage for making a lap size blanket and a double bed size blanket. The last photos is of a stashbuster blanket I am making using this same pattern.
Skill level: Easy or Beginner. Rosie’s Ripple is an easy to remember 2 row repeat, done entirely in HDC stitch.
Yarn: I used Bernat Softee Baby in Baby Pink Marle, 4 balls or approx 1448 yd (1244m) of #3 lighter weight or baby yarn.
