The strawberry is worked from the top down. I included the details for the limbs, stems and flower first for those who like the crochet as you go method. The middle part of the top has an indentation, similar to the real berries.

the pattern calls for Premier Yarns Basix Chenille Brights in white, lemon, hibiscus and kiwi. Hibiscus is used the most as it is the body of the strawberry, one skein will suffice. The rest will be used in smaller quantities.
