Rosslyn
As always, I have a Teaser Trailer for this pattern where I discuss construction, modifications, yarn choice, sizing, and more. Check it out here!
Check out Arcadia DK kits here, which includes a yarn discount!
Rosslyn is a top-down, seamless mock-turtleneck garment, with a stylish cropped length that is easily customized. This chic fall and spring transition piece looks great under a blazer or a jacket for chilly evenings. Rosslyn knits up surprisingly quickly, with no sleeve-island to be stranded on! I have included notes in the pattern on modifications that you can incorporate as well, including guidance for changing length, adding sleeves, and incorporating waist shaping.
SIZES - see last photo on left for schematic
Finished bust measurement: 30.5 (35, 38.25, 41.5) (44.75, 48, 51.25) (56.75, 60, 63.25)” / 77.5 (89, 97, 105.5) (113.5, 122,
130) (144, 152.5, 160.5) cm
Sample is shown in size 2 (35”) modeled with 0” of ease. Garment is designed to be worn with 0” or slight negative ease. Choose a size that equals or is slightly smaller than your bust measurement.
YARN
680 (735, 805, 880) (970, 1040, 1130) (1260,
1330, 1430) yards / 620 (675, 735, 805) (885, 950,
1035) (1150, 1215, 1310) meters DK weight yarn
Shown in Traveling Yarn Arcadia DK in the colorway Amber - 100% non-superwash merino, 180 yards / 164 meters per 1.75 oz / 50 g skein
This pattern works best with a bouncy yarn with good stitch definition and good memory. I would not recommend using a 100% cotton yarn for this pattern.
NEEDLES AND GAUGE

US size 6 needles used in the sample
