ROSTREVOR is the sixth shawl in The Petite Possibilities Collection. It is knit sideways, from tip-to-tip, in a captivating mix of lace and textured patterns. Built-in faux I-cord creates clean, polished edges.

The pattern includes photos and instructions for 7 shawls, ranging from sizes XS to Large, in either crescent or triangular shape.

ROSTREVOR is easily customizable to your desired size, and the amount of yarn you have available. Make a single-skein shawl from the precious skein you have been saving, a small shawlette, or a narrow scarf.

Size options with detailed instructions and photos can be found in a separate PDF titled ROSTREVOR POSSIBILITIES. Use the tables to design your own shawl, based on desired size or yarn available.

ROSTREVOR is designed for fingering weight yarn, but will look equally lovely in Sport or DK weight yarn. Several test knitters chose this option.

The pattern includes row-by-row written instructions with stitch counts for every row, and handy tables to help you keep track of your progress. Charts are included for the stitch pattern. For side shaping, refer to written instructions.

A photo tutorial is included for the Flower Stitch.

You will be receive two patterns.

Pattern No. 1 increases one stitch every six rows.
Select this pattern for a shawl with a longer wingspan and shallower center.

Pattern No. 2 increases one stitch every four rows.
Select this pattern for a shawl with a shorter wingspan, and wider at the center.

Both patterns are adaptable to a crescent or triangular shape.

TIPS AND TRICKS is a separate 7-page PDF. It contains extra information on all the key details of the shawl. As an experienced knitting instructor, I love to share helpful tips, and offer lots of advice!
