Rosy Maple Moth
An original pattern to crochet your own sweet fuzzy moth, with instructions included for both the Rosy Maple moth and the Luna moth variations.
PATTERN DETAILS:
o In English using American crochet terminology
o PDF document of 10 pages with detailed instructions and images
o Level: Advanced.
o Knowledge of stitches required: single crochet, double crochet, half double, treble crochet, back post single crochet, back loop crochet, increase, decrease, slip stitch, chain
o Finished moth, when made with a 3.25mm hook using 8-ply yarn measures ~20cm from nose to end, with a ~35cm wingspan
MATERIALS REQUIRED:
o Crochet hook appropriate for your chosen yarn (3.25mm used in the photographed examples)
o Sewing/darning needle
o Sewing pins
o Wire/“slicker” brush
o Scissors
o Polyester stuffing
o 21mm safety eyes
o Use of wire is optional.
