If you are new to angle stitches, I highly recommend trying them first with this free Heart Mug Rug pattern. https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/heart-mug-rug-2 This small 7”x 7” project is a great introduction to my angle notation system and includes my full stitch key.
There is space in the design to personalize your blanket with a name. I have several alphabets fonts available that fit this space nicely (sold separately). https://www.ravelry.com/bundles/alphabets-21

This pattern is divided into 6 sections (4 pages each) and is worked from the bottom up. I would suggest using the Knit Companion app (my personal preference as it is brilliant and saves on printer ink and paper), but I have also included layout instructions for the charts if you prefer to print out your pages. The written pattern sections correlate with the charts so they can be used together. I have added a full chart on one page for those who wish to use Knit Companion (or similar technology) without all the page breaks.
Special thanks to Enjoli Pruden for testing this design.
