Rough Collies out for a romp in the woods! This double-knitting pattern is worked in the round ( easier for beginners). Worked in DK weight, it is a headband. Worked in Worsted weight, it is a neck-warmer!

The finished piece of the headband measures approximately 18” around and 3.5” tall with about 5” of negative ease for a nice snug fit.

The gauge is most important to follow when knitting a headband. I have listed using US3 circular 16” needles because I am a loose knitter, but use the size you need to obtain the gauge.

The finished piece of the neck warmer in worsted weight measures approximately 22” around and 5” tall. This was worked on US 6 circular 16” needles.

Try to pick contrasting colours for the design to really stand out.
Enjoy!
