Calling all Rough Collie-lovers! Here is a poncho that includes a design graph for Sable, Tri-Colour, Blue Merle and White (with sable head markings).
You can either make the collies all the same (as shown) or make them in a variety of colours.
The finished poncho is approximately 40” wide and 28” long at the shoulder.
The main yarn I used is Red Heart Soft (Wine). I used scrap amounts of various yarns for the collies. The challenge is to find a good sable colour in the right gauge. I used Vanna’s Choice in Honey#130. Another option is Craft Smart Value Solids in Curry. For the Blue Merle grey I used Red Heart Soft Lt. Grey Heather and Black. I also used Red Heart Soft Winter White.
