For Collie lovers everywhere! A band of 10 Collies encircle this hat.
This pattern includes the colour ways for Sable, Tri-colour and Blue Merle or you can customize.
Worked in both cotton (for the inside lining) and acrylic, this toque provides both warmth and style.

By using a smaller than suggested needle for its yarn weight, the finished product is a tightly woven to keep the elements out.

This pattern uses a provisional cast on (using a crochet hook and waste yarn) for the lining portion. For the outer portion it uses TWO 16” US Size 6 circular needles and a set of US Size 6 double pointed needles or the size of needles needed to achieve the correct gauge.

The various colours of collie can be taken from small amounts of scrap yarn. Only one skein or less of each of the main yarns is required.
Although I have listed the yarns used, any similar weight yarn can be used.
