Bulky yarn can be fun to knit with! And this raglan in a simple garter rib and cable pattern works up quickly. Choose a semi-solid color for the best results. The fun, yet unusual, aspect of the cable is that it’s half stockinette, and half garter, so it look as if only one half of the cable is actually twisting.
The body is worked in the round to the armholes, then divided to work the front and back separately. The sleeves are worked in the round to the armhole, then the cap worked back and forth. The only seams are the armhole seams. Pick up stitches along the bound off edges of the sleeves and neck, then work a few rounds in garter rib with the pattern matching the rib on the body.
Quick and easy, you’ll have this one done in no time!
