Skill level: Easy/Intermediate

Gauge: 9 sts, 13 rows to 10cm (4inch) on 9mm(US13) knitting needles

Materials:
• Super chunky weight yarn at tension 9sts, 13 rows to 10cm (4inch) using 9mm (US13) needles.
• 9mm (US13) straight knitting needles or size needed to obtain gauge
• 9mm (M) crochet hook (to make a button loop)
• Large button
• Tapestry needle

Sample yarn used – Bergere de France Recyclane.
175 yards (160 m) for 16 x 16’’ size.
250 yards (228m) for 18 x 18’’ size cushion cover.

About the yarn - Saving the planet and recycling is high on the agenda for Bergere de France as they introduce Recyclaine, a yarn made from 60% of fibres they have recycled themselves. 58% Acrylic, 30% Synthetic, 12% Wool.

Other super chunky yarns with recommended gauge - 9sts to 10cm (4’’) are also suitable for this project.
