Round and Round Cowl is a fun, beginner friendly pattern! It is perfect for using up fingering weight scraps, or a single skein of yarn you have in your stash.
The pattern includes detailed notes on how many grams each stripe took and notes on different ways that you can use your yarns in the pattern.

Advent calendar used: 2019 Downton Abbey advent calendar from Bumblebee Acres. Fingering Weight Yarn. 25, 10 gram mini skeins were used. **
Supplies List
Yarn: Sample used approximately 71 grams/ 328 yards of Fingering Weight Yarn. Sample used Legacy Fiber Artz Yarn in their 75%
Superwash Merino/25% Nylon Steel Toes Base in the Fall Harvest Mini Skein Set. Set included 7, 20 gram minis, for a total of
140 grams/648 yards. (Pattern does include a break down of how much is used per stripe. There are also notes on customizing this
to use different amounts of yarn.)
Needles: US 4/3.5mm 16-24” Circular needles
Notions: Stitch Marker
Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
Gauge: Because of the chevron pattern it can be a bit difficult to take gauge on this so I did it by pattern repeats, I got approximately 2
pattern repeats per 4” in stitch gauge. (pattern repeat is 14 stitches) Row gauge in pattern was approximately 16 rounds per 4”.
Both of these gauges are AFTER blocking.
Finished Measurements: When item is laid flat: 11” wide/ 14 ¾” long
