A quick 1-day project to create a basket to get your odds-and-ends organized!

The split single crochet is used to create a knit-like effect and a sturdy fabric. The decorative edging comprises of 2 rows of overlapping stitches, to stiffen the bottom and the top of the basket. Optionally, you can add wires into the top and bottom of the basket to further stiffen the basket. Basket in photo comprises of 2 colours, but you can personalize it to your favourite colour or colour combinations.
