This is a step-by-step tutorial pattern for a hand crocheted round blanket “Burgundy”, which can be crocheted to any size you like and can also be used as bed cover (bedspread), sofa, armchair, table cover, shawl or wrap. Although it is thick it is also very soft and light. It is crocheted very quickly and you can use your own combination of colours.
The pattern can be made up with any yarn. The instructions have been tested on several types of yarn and thread. If you use a different yarn brand or type, use an average hook size between the smallest and largest on the yarn label. Variations and experimentations are unlimited!

Materials you will need:
1) crochet yarn (I used Premium Acrylic DK yarn) burgundy red (main colour, approx. 500 g), pale beige (approx. 130 g), pale peach (approx. 70 g), pale lilac (approx. 80 g) and pale pink (approx. 90 g). Total weight of blanket is 870 g. Order extra yarn so that you don’t run out.
2) crochet hook (I used 7 mm hook).

The approximate diameter of the crocheted blanket is about 124 cm (about 48.8 inch). The size of the circle may vary depending on the type of yarn, hook size and how tightly you crochet.
