Round Cactus
A free version is also available.
This is a pattern to make a small, round crochet cactus. Unlike most cactus patterns I found, this one is crochet in a spiral, with the “ridges” formed from the wrong side loops of half-double crochet. I also included a short, simple pattern for making the dirt/sand at the bottom of a dish.
I did not measure yardage or gauge. Since the cactus is so small, this is a good project for scrap yarn.
My pattern is for the smaller, round, lighter green cactus shown in the photo. My pattern also includes links for the patterns I based the flower and taller, darker green cactus on (although I modified slightly).
