Here is a pattern for a project bag that is a bit different. Using just 4 skeins of yarn and a yard of plain unbleached muslin, you can quickly crochet this bag and line it with fabric. The sturdy but lightweight cotton lining keeps the bag from stretching out of shape, and it is large enough to hold several balls of yarn, a pattern, all of your accessories, plus the odd wallet or lipstick. Closed with a self tie that weaves through button holes in both the fabric and crocheted outer pouch, this is a great casual bag that can serve many purposes.
Skill Level: This pattern is intended for those with intermediate crochet and sewing skills. You will learn to make crocheted and fabric buttonholes and to crochet in the round.
Finished Dimensions: Diameter of base is 12 inches across. Bag stands 9 inches tall. Shoulder strap drop is approximately 14 inches.
