Sister Lakes, which Round Lake is part of, is a great resort area located in Southwestern Michigan that has 10 beautiful lakes within a 5- or 6-mile radius. The Sister Lakes area also includes Big Crooked, Little Crooked, Magician, Dewey, and Cable Lakes. In 1877, a post office was opened between the ‘Sister’ lakes of Round and Crooked, thus the name.

This shawl is a relaxing knit with an easy to memorize repeat and is constructed asymmetrically, which allows the knitter to blissfully knit until it’s time to bind off. The squishy garter body allows meditative zen while the feather and fan stripes are just enough to hold interest.
