A sturdy, generous sized market bag. The opening is wide for easy loading.

The bag is made with worsted weight (#4) 100% cotton yarn which keeps it from being too stretchy.

I used Lily Sugar ‘n Cream in “Playtime” for the sample.

This is an easy project, great for a beginner.

The gauge isn’t super critical, but you will want to use a firm tension both to make the bag more sturdy and so that you don’t run out of yarn. The pattern uses all but a little of 3 skeins.
