Pattern calls for 5 {5} (20 gram) balls of Patons Fairytale DK.

Can substitute any DK or sock yarn, check gauge and adjust needle sizes for different finished sizes.

Two good yarn substitutes I have used:

• Cascade Cherub DK
• Dale of Norway Baby Ull (fingering, but still works with 5s, resulting cloth has more drape)

A little cardigan on classic lines with pretty texture for extra appeal.

Raglan construction. The five sections are knitted separately and seamed.
