We first used this stitch flat knitted for a head wrap, with all the great feedback we have created a loom knit pattern for the same stitch in the round. These leaves have beautiful texture that can be inserted in any loom knit project.
We have included pattern instructions for 3/8” peg spacing
64, 72 and 80 peg count.These peg counts will make hats for teen, adult small, medium, and large. Our sample was made on the 64 peg and used only 117 yds. ( one mini skein ). For a larger hat with higher peg count you will need 2 mini skeins or 1 regular size skein of the Sugar wheel Cotton. This hat and the head wrap were made with Cross Cross Applesauce which paired perfectly with the stitch. This stitch will work on larger looms and other fibers; please swatch first :smiley:
