Gauge

• for sportweight version - 24 stitches and 28 rows = 4”/10 cm
• for worsted weight version - 20 stitches and 24 rows = 4”/10 cm

Materials

Plain version

• If using Pomfret, Fore’N Aft Sport, or Crystal - 4 (4, 5, 5, 6, 6) skeins needed
• if using Germantown or Windrush - 2 (2, 3, 3, 4, 4) skeins

Patterned version

• 1 skein each of two contrast colors in addition to main color listed above

Hat

• if using Pomfret, Fore’N Aft Sport, or Crystal - the quantity listed above for the main color is supposed to be sufficient to knit the hat in addition to one cardigan/pullover.
• if using Germantown or Windrush - add 1 skein
