Round Suede Bottom Purse - Knit or Felted

Pattern came with 9” suede purse bottom and includes crochet, knit and knit felted version.
Try different stitch pattern, preferably closed, tight ones rather than lacy, open stitches.
Knitted Version uses 4mm
Felted version uses 8mm; 3 sts = 1”
Purse is knit into a tube, then attached to suede bottom with whip or blanket stitch.
