This pattern can be made in any weight of yarn using a hook one size larger than recommended on the ball band.

In the one in the image, I used a #3 sport/dk weight yarn . Approx 800g/32 oz/2500 yds will make a 42” blanket.

Want it bigger? Just keep going! You can make this blanket as large or small as you want and the border will still work as long as you complete a full repeat!

The blanket in the image was done as a stash buster in bits and bobs of Mandala yarn mixed with some Bernat Baby Sport and Paton’s Astra usinng an H/5.00mm hook. It would look fabulous in any self striping or solid yarns.
