Rowenna
It doesn’t matter how cold it gets outside, because this luxurious shawl, worked in a worsted-weight yarn, promises cozy warmth all season long. With a hint of lace and a wrapped stitch pattern, there’s plenty of texture and joy for everyone.
PATTERN NOTES
Rowenna is a triangular shawl, knitted from the top down, with increases on wrong side rows at the spine and each edge of the shawl. The top section of the shawl is worked in Mock Cable Pattern and has 4 stitch increases on every wrong side row. The lower section is worked in Trellis Pattern with 4 increases on every wrong side row and increases on some right-side rows. The shawl is edged with a narrow border of garter stitch. The lower edge of the shawl, once blocked, has a gentle scalloped shape.
The stitch patterns are both written (see Stitches Used) and charted (page 4) for your preference.
