This neck warmer has a beautiful lace and fair isle pattern of crossed oars. The perfect neck warmer for the avid rower!

This is a quick knitting project perfect for using up leftover yarn.

The pattern includes instructions for one size with measurements of 20” (51cm) circumference and a length of 10” (26cm). If a larger circumference is desired then an additional repeat of the fair isle pattern can be repeated.

The neck warmer is worked in the round with 3.5mm needles.

The sample was knit with double knit (DK) weight yarn from Old Maiden Aunt Yarns. This yarn is particularly soft as it is 80% superfine alpaca and 20% silk.

The sample was knit with the colours Bitter Bug (background colour) and Natural (white as foreground) yarn, one skein of each. However there are endless colour combination possibilities. It is recommended that when choosing two colours that they have a strong contrast so that the fair isle pattern is more visible.
