Roxy is worked seamlessly from the top down. First the right half of the patterned collar piece is worked from the center of the back. These stitches are placed on hold to work the left half of the patterned collar piece from the initial cast on to the same length. Then stitches are picked up from the long edge of the collar to work the lower part of the back in Stockinette stitch to armhole depth. Both collar pieces and the lower back are then joined to work the lower body part in one piece. A deep 1x1 Twisted Rib finishes the body.

Mohair Version: kid silk mohair by Drops 50g /210mt - 70% kid mohair, 30 % silk, approximate yardage worked double stranded for an average height: 6 (6, 8, 8, 10, 10) skeins.

Spring Version: Bomull-lin by Drops 50g/85mt - 53% cotton, 47% linen, approximate yardage for an average hight: 10 ( 10, 11, 11 , 12, 13) skeins.
Other yarns can be used, but keep in mind that using other yarn qualities might lead to a different overall look of the sweater. It can also affect the amount of yarn needed.

Gauge: 18 sts x 24 rows = 10 x 10 cm/4 x 4 inches

Roxy è lavorato senza cuciture dall’alto verso il basso. Per prima cosa si lavora la metà destra del davanti e parte superiore del dietro partendo dal centro della schiena. Queste maglie vengono poi messe in attesa per lavorare allo stesso modo la metà sinistra del davanti partendo dall’avvio iniziale. Entrambi i davanti sono lavorati nel “Punto Diamante”. Poi si riprendono le maglie dal bordo lungo i due davanti per lavorare la parte inferiore del dietro a maglia rasata fino alla profondità dello scalfo. Entrambi i davanti e la parte inferiore del dietro vengono poi uniti per lavorare la parte finale del corpo e il bordo in un unico pezzo.

Si possono usare altri filati, ma si deve tenere presente che l’uso di altre qualità di filato potrebbe portare a un aspetto diverso del maglione e potrebbe anche influenzare la quantità necessaria.
