Roy Lichtenstein - Whaam
From book: One frame taken from a comic strip makes this American pop-art classic of 1963. A characteristic image of the 1960s, this just had to be knitted! A fine cotton has been chosen to produce as much detail as possible. The natural division in the painting has been used imaginatively to design the back and front, and as a result there is a marked contrast in the look of the two different sides of the sweater.
