Royal Baby Cardigan
I designed this simple little cardigan to match my Royal Baby Bonnets, “Louis” and “Charlotte”. It’s knit from the top down with little mock cable details down the front and sleeves. I used sport weight yarn and US size 2 needles to get a newborn size cardigan that is @ 8 inches long from collar to hem and is @ 16 inches around the chest. Using larger yarn and needles will yield a larger sweater. The pattern includes two versions, one in garter stitch and one in stockinette.
