The Royal Ludroth, my first experience with one of these was on Monster Hunter Stories 2 - Wings of Ruin and I must admit I fell in love with this spongey boy.
A great companion who loves a quick dip in the sea, the Royal Ludroth is a loyal Monster and it was a pleasure to make this lovely soul to add to my ever growing collection of amigurumis! Why not make one for a friend or fellow hunter? This would make a great gift for any fan of the series.
This pattern is beginner friendly and works up quickly.
The finished Royal Ludroth comes out at a lovely 12.5 inches (32cm) from nose to tail, and a chunky 6.5 inches (17cm) wide from back leg to back leg. If you use a 4mm hook and 4mm yarn like I did these measurements will be accurate.

Stitches used: SC, INC, DEC, HCD, DBL, TRB, CH

I crocheted the eyes for my Royal Ludroth and the instructions are in this pattern, however you can use felt and glue or needle felting too to make the eyes.
