This is my pattern for the bonnet baby Prince Louis wore home from the hospital. I looked closely at pictures of the hat to get a very close replica of the original. It’s a simple knit in garter stitch with tiny cables around the face and at the crown. I used sport weight yarn and small needles to get a newborn-3 month size hat (@14-15”). Using a heavier yarn and slightly larger needles will yield a bigger size.
