Royal Thistle is a fun knit, with two cast on and bind off options, an engaging colorwork section, and adjustable length. Designed with two colors, but could be done in three or more. One of the best parts is the construction hides the floats.

Yarns
2 colors of contrasting fingering weight yarn; Color 1 - 389 yds / 356 m; Color 2 - 153 yds / 140 m
Sample used: Color 1 - Dream in Color, Jilly, 70% Superwash Merino, 20% Cashmere, 10% Nylon, in Divine (dark purple). Color 2 - Less Traveled Yarn, 757 Sock, 75% Superwash Merino, 25% Nylon, in Colibri (light purple)
Needles/Hook
- 2 - US2/2.75 mm, 16”/40 cm circular needle, or size needed to obtain gauge. (second needle if using Kitchener Stitch to seam, optional)
- Crochet hook (if doing Provisional Cast on)
