I combined 1 strand #5 nylon and 1 strand #3 metallic nylon to give it just a little sparkle. Everyone loved it and wanted one. With 80 colors in the size 5 and 23 colors in the metallic, imagine the possibilities.

• 2 rolls Omega nylon size 5 #18 clear
• brown and 2 rolls Omega metallic size
• 3 #68 brown/gold Size E aluminum
• crochet hook Tapestry needle 10”
• zipper Matching thread and sewing
• needle 2 1 1/2” O rings 2 matching
• clasps 6 matching metallic buttons
• Lining material optional

Fray Check – Dabbing fray check on the ends is necessary when using nylon thread which ravels easily. When coming to an end or changing colors work over the thread just like yarn but leave a little more thread. Then clip close to the stitches and immediately dab Fray Check on the end and the surrounding area on the inside of your work. It can darken the thread so dab lightly but make sure it’s saturated.
