The pdf for this project includes both a cowl and hat. It’s quick and easy to make both and you can make them in a couple of days using 280 m or 306 yards (for all three sizes).

The hat is knitted in the round using circular needles or DPNs, and it is a bit slouchy. The hat is customizable. You can make it as slouchy as you like by trying it on while you knit, and to see where it falls. You can knit longer for a more slouchy hat or shorter for a more fitted style.

The hat comes in three sizes - small, medium, and large. The sample shown is 20 cm/8 inches long from the cast on edge before crown shaping. The sample shown is large size.
