I’d been meaning to make this for a long time, but never quite figured out how to do the edge pattern for the White Mage costume without all that tedious mitring of yarn or floating strands on the reverse. I saw a pattern in a crochet magazine that used spiked stitches to create a zigzag pattern on the surface of the material that worked just right, so I’ve incorporated it into this design.

Pattern includes tips for using different types of yarn and resizing. Also includes photo tutorials.
