Aran Cap and scarf inspired by the beautiful diamond and cable patterns used in fishermen’s Guernseys. Here the diamond takes center stage in the scarf with classy pointed ends and tassels. The cap has a turned-up brim with the same cable pattern and half of the diamond section.

We have used Mountain Mohair for this set but you can use other yarns that fit the gauge described above.

Yardage depends on length of scarf, we used 5 skeins/770 yards for a 75 inches (191 cm) long. It is available as a kit with 5 skeins of Edelweiss Mountain Mohair here:
