The Røsnæs Sweater is a fluffy, light raglan sweater with unique details, worked mostly in stockinette and a very fast knit. Raglan increases are made in different places not traditionally used in raglan sweaters: mid-back, mid-front, and the sleeves. The collar and cuffs have 1 x 1 ribbing followed by an i-cord trim. The sleeves are wide and the sweater in general is designed to be loose-fitting with ample positive ease. The sweater itself gets progressively wider throughout the body, giving an anorak style.

The sweater is worked top to bottom with three strands of yarn held together throughout the entire piece. First the collar is worked in the round in ribbing. Stitch markers are inserted to indicate the division of the sweater (mid-back, sleeves, mid-front). Then the upper back is worked back and forth with German Short Rows, before working in the round with increases again. Sleeves are placed on a stitch holder while the rest of the body is worked in the round. Increases are made mid-front and mid-back for the entire length. Once the desired length is reached, the body is finished with ribbing and an i-cord trim. Sleeves are then worked individually in the round and are left wide until ribbing and binding off with an i-cord edge. The neckline is also re-visited with an applied i-cord edge.
