Yes, it squeeks! After all, what would a rubber chicken be without a squeeker?

When I received a custom order for a crocheted rubber chicken, I realized there were few patterns available, and nothing like this. Using a big hook and thick yarn, this quick pattern creates a fun, floppy rubber chicken.
As with many patterns, it is easy to adjust the look and size of your chicken using different yarn weights with a compatible hook.

Materials Needed:
9 mm (US size M/N) crochet hook

One skein Super Bulky (6) yarn in yellow and a small amount of super bulky yarn in Red. I used Bernat Blanket in Gold and Race Car Red

Polyester Fiberfill

Pet toy squeaker, I used one 3” in diameter

10 mm Safety eyes

Stitch markers
Tapestry needle to sew and weave in ends
