When I dreamt up this cowl I was thinking of something that was compact around my neck, but stretched easily to cover my head. I thought of accordions (it was 1 am). Rubberneck was the result.

This project is fun and fresh in a bright color and guy-friendly when knit in darker or neutral tones. Simple enough for a beginner, it requires knowing only how to knit, purl, and work in the round. Plus, it uses only one skein of yarn, so during the crazy holiday season it won’t break your brain or the bank.
