Rubus is a sock pattern designed for The Loopy Ewe Spring 2011 club. The color pictured is called Midnight Rendevous and reminds me of blackberries. That is what led to this design.

Rubus is a toe-up sock pattern with a gusset and heel flap. It comes in three sizes of 50, 62, and 70 total stitches. The stitch pattern comes only in chart form.

Size measurements:
small (medium, large)
5.5 (7, 8) inches around unstretched
7 (9, 10) inches stretched

Techniques: toe-up cast-on (Turkish, figure 8, Judy’s magic cast-on), chart reading, increases, decreases, and twisted stitches.

Errata:
There are shading issues with the center portion of the charts on 4 of the even numbered rows. This has been described in detail in this post.
