Skill level: Easy.
Beginners may have some difficulty, please check the necessary skills. BUT that being said, this is a great learning project too, to rev up those knitting skills, especially since mistakes only make these adorb doggies more charming! Written in standard US terms.

Skills necessary:
CO = cast on
K = knit
P = purl
Kfb = knit front & back
Pfb = Purl front and back
st st = stockinette stitch = knit one row, purl one row
K2tog = Knit 2 stitches together
P2tog = Purl 2 stitches together
BO = bind off
Basic embroidery for stitching mouth and freckles
Mattress stitch & Whip stitch for seaming

Gauge is not needed. Knit on size 6 needles with any worsted weight yarn.
Supplies:

Worsted weight yarn in colors for skin, ears, shirt, 2 sock stripes, and boots
Size 6 knitting needles
yarn needle
scissors
Black or Ecru DMC floss for freckles
felt for eye spots
Two size 9mm safety eyes, one size 11mm dog nose or you can stitch these on instead if you’d like
