Ruby cowl was designed with hand dyed yarn, but any kettle dyed or tonal worsted weight yarn would be beautiful. Too much verigation would hide the cables and the lace in the pattern.

I used almost all of a 220 yard skein.

I got gauge with a size 8 needle.
