This is a filet crochet pattern and is charted out. The border is written out using US terminology.

The shawl is a rectangle about 45” wide and 102” long.

I used a little less than two and a half skeins Caron One Pound 100% Acrylic yarn in the color claret.

Gauge: 3 lacets measure 4 1/4 inches with 4 rows measuring 2 1/2 inches.

You can easily change the size of the shawl by changing the size of the yarn/hook. Any yarn would work nice as long as it’s not real textured or fuzzy.
